MEET RACHAEL A. KRIGER, M.A.

Hello! Welcome to my page.

 

I'm Rachael A. Kriger and I have served in many roles in my professional career. I began my journey in life as a journalist and writer, gradually learning different trades over the year to add sports photographer, social media coordinator, marketing employee and copywriter to my list of experience.

I am 28-years-old and currently reside in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, about a 30-minute drive away from Pittsburgh.

I graduated from California University of Pennsylvania (PennWest University) in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in English: Journalism. In December 2020, I earned my Master of Arts in Media Communication from Point Park University. In March 2023, I earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from St. Joseph College of Maine.

 

Personally, I am engaged to the love of my life, Luke Palmer, and we will be getting married in May 2025! I am a devout Roman Catholic and am heavily involved with my church, Mary, Queen of Saints Parish. I am currently working at MQS Parish full-time, as a Youth Minister and Communications Director, but am looking to solely do Youth Ministry part-time and get back into the Journalism, full-time. 

 

I am a major fan of soccer and basketball, and have experience coaching both sports at the youth level. I was a coach at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School in Hopewell Township, Pa., for nine years, and spent one year coaching at Blessed Trinity Catholic School in Ocala, Fl. I have served as a head coach for three years, and assistant for seven years. I also was an assistant soccer coach at Our Lady of Fatima for four seasons, including both Fall and Spring seasons, with two second-place finishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh.​
